Aftercare Instructions

Use sterile saline solution twice daily (morning/evening) for 8-12 weeks.
Refrain from touching, moving, or playing with your piercing Wash your hands before you touch it, should the need arise
DO NOT remove jewelry during the healing process
DO NOT use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, ointments, harsh soaps, or other cleansers.
Rinse vour piercing well at the end of each shower for 60 seconds with warm running water.
Try to avoid sleeping on the piercing for at least 8-12 weeks
No soaking or swimming for 90 days
Downsize jewelry (if needed) in 8-12 weeks.

Prix Body Piercing uses implant grade metals with a high mirror finish to shorten the healing time of your piercing. Touching your piercing can cause trauma and/or add bacteria which will prolong and even compromise the healing of your piercing. Avoid harsh chemicals like soap, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, open bodies of water, and chlorinated pools. We suggest a simple saline rinse, it can be purchased at the shop or made at home by mixing 4 teaspoons of non iodized sea salt to a gallon of distilled water. Most of the time a shorter wearing size is recommended for a healed piercing. Be sure to keep up with us, if you're having issues or concerns.
